PHOTOS & VIDEONew Malden karate trainingNew Malden is the main base of the EKK. We do most of our training here, notices are available on the board and we have a display case for our trophies on view in the reception area.
The timetable has different levels of training for every night of the week, with the exception of Thursday. Training on this night is at Coombe Girls School.
Monday night is based around impact training and fighting techniques. With a heavy emphasis on physical fitness and practical application, students use punch and kicks bags, and pads to improve their focus, accuracy and stamina.

Most lessons are a
combination of the basic movements, combinations of movements, kata training,
sparring and pair work, where students work together to fine-tune their
techniques and prepare for competitions and gradings.
