Last weekend, England Karate Kan (Association) hosted the 2nd English Open Karate Championships at Tolworth Recreation Centre, Surrey. With over six hundred entries, from new to seasoned athletes, the event was successful and looks set to improve every year.

Please note that all Kumite events will be starting at 13.00, to avoid Kumite competitors waiting around.
There will be two more categories 6-7yrs boys Kumite Cat KU2B & 6-7yrs Girls Kumite KU1B. (Subject to enough Entries), Coaches please state correct age on Entry Form.

Sunday 17th May 2009:
England Karate Kan hosted the first ever English Open Karate Championships on 17th May, which saw 500 entries of the 385 competitors from over 30 Associations battling on the mats to gain the first ever EOKC Titles. EKK were overwhelmed by the support of the Associations present, and a packed venue reflected the popularity of the event.
