5th March 2010

Sensei Claire Read of England Karate Kan St Joseph’s is very proud to announce that eight St Joseph’s students braved a grading panel to achieve their next karate belts on Friday 5th March.

The students, from both the Infant and Junior karate club, were drilled physically with a series of fitness exercises and karate tests, as well as mentally, as the students were tested on their discipline, respect and even Japanese!

Chief Instructor of England Karate Kan (Association) Sensei Enzo Quirino, who graded the students from St Joseph’s, commented that the standard was very high and commended the students on their support of each other as a club.

Sensei Claire wishes to congratulate those who graded and is looking forward to more graders achieving their next karate belts over the following months.

Come along and join us!
