WHAT IS THE EKK?

The England Karate Kan (EKK) (Association) is the name of the karate club and karate organisation run by Enzo Quirino.

Association

When you choose a karate club, it is important you find one that is recognised by the English Karate Federation (EKF). Usually a club will be affiliated with a larger organisation that is itself a member association of the EKF. The EKK is actually a member association, so all EKK clubs are automatically recognised nationally.

The EKF is the official governing body for karate in England and is recognised by the British Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation.

Equal opportunities

The EKK is a family friendly club that welcomes members from students whatever their culture, gender, religion, origin or ability. We aim to help each student to achieve their goal for practising karate, taking into account their individual ability and ambition.

Any staff recruited to our clubs will be appointed on the basis of merit and suitability.

Important information for parents

We want your child to enjoy learning karate with the EKK and will do our best to make them feel welcome and secure. We hope that the this information will answer some of the questions you may have as parents. If there is anything else you would like to know, please ask your child's instructor.
